KIMARITE is a sumo arcade fighting game where technique, timing, and strategy decide every bout. Build your rikishi, earn your rank, and fight your way to Yokozuna — facing human masters and supernatural beings alike.

In sumo tradition, the dohyo is sacred ground. Inside the tawara, divinity is stripped. Gods and men compete as equals. Only skill, stamina, and will remain.

ARCADE MODE

FIGHT YOUR FRIENDS ON YOUR COUCH! Couch Versus Mode Unlocked! 
Select your Rikishi. Choose your techniques. Enter the dohyo.

The fight is divided into two phases:

TACHI-AI — The collision. Charge with L2, declare Henka with Square, fire with R2. The opening determines everything.

THE TRENCH — Two bodies locked in contact. Hold R2 to drive and burn stamina. Hold L2 to brace and recover it. Establish grips with L1 and R1. Build your card meter through efficient drives. When the moment is right — play your technique and finish it.

You cannot win by pushing alone. The match ends with a KIMARITE — a named winning technique. That is the whole sport.
